Savory sardines with Forte Bianco vinegar

Instructions:

Clean the sardines, removing heads and scales. Season with salt, coat with flour, and fry in heated oil
until golden brown. Remove and place on kitchen paper to absorb excess oil.
In another pan, using olive oil, sauté the onions cut into crescents until they turn golden. Season with salt,
add whole peppercorns, bay leaves, and the sprig of rosemary.
In a separate pot, prepare the “savur”. Combine olive oil, wine vinegar, water, a bit of fresh parsley,
lemon zest, a touch of sugar, a sprig of rosemary, bay leaves, and whole peppercorns. Bring the mixture to a
boil.
Place the fried sardines in a container for marinating and pour the cooled “savur” over them.
Store the marinated sardines in the refrigerator. They can last for a week or two when prepared this way.
Serve as part of a meal or as a delicious appetizer with fresh bread or salad. Enjoy! Enjoy!
